Raad Kawar is a warm and loving 26 year-old Jordanian citizen. He went to Lebanon to visit some friends for a day and come back home. On Tuesday 19th of April at 1 a.m. that night, Raad sent a friend of his a text message saying that he is on the highway and on his way back from the Damascus borders, and should be arriving in a couple of hours. But that was the last his family or friends heard from him.
For two days and two nights, Raad's mother, brothers, family and friends were worried sick, playing all the worst-case scenarios in their heads. Alas, they found out that Raad was held by the Syrian Authorities for interrogation! Till this day, he is still held captive there.
We want to tell the world through this website what Raad is all about. We want you all to share a happy moment you had with Raad, or a good memory you have with him, so that we can smile, and give him a good read for when he is back home to us, safe and sound.
